The  meditation throne backrest is inlayed with gem stones and crystals , these are reputed to have healing properties . Each chakra is represented by a carved sphere that is  inlayed with a gem stone  or crystal. American Indians medicine man or shaman believe that when you clear all your chakras, you acquire a rainbow body, allowing the person to journey beyond this world and into the next.

The first chakra is red in color is is in the sexual region this rules our raw emotion and is represented by the gem stone carnelian , in times of old it was said that if the stone was exposed to sun light it would bestow the to see the astral plane and combat envy.

The forth chakra is in the chest and is emerald green the hart chakra the gem stone green agate the ancients would use it to strengthen the heart, spleen and kidneys.

The fifth chakra is at the throat region and is seen as brilliant blue flower of living light our power of communication the gemstone Turquoise is used Turquoise contains phosphoric acid which has been used to treat lung and throat  disorders , Turquoise was and is still used as a stone of balance and protection.

Sixth chakra is at the forehead and is a violet purple chakra linking to our intelligence and wisdom , the gemstone Amethyst reputed to have the effect of reducing anger and impatience cleanse the mind of evil thoughts and to soothing the brain. It is also used to protect from the evil eye and its main use is as a cleanser of stress.

The seventh chakrais at the top of the head and is a brilliant white chakra of light, this connects us to the creative spirit through which all religious feeling flow in and out. Lolite is a stone used to combat alcohol and addictions it is a excellent stone for meditation as it is reputed to open the mind to psychic visions and  aid alignment with one's higher self.
