This has resulted in an unconscious bond between man and his natural environment. Some trees were given sacred powers attributed to them through a complex web of mythology and belief.

Wyrd designs embrace this web of mythology & through these designs I attempt to reflect this for the use of relaxation meditation within your home and garden.

Wyrd is an old Anglo Saxon word, meaning destiny, power and prophetic Knowledge, it was used to express the spiritual and magical interconnection of all life, from the past, present & future.

These designs attempt to minimize the demands on the environment, by using timber grown in ethically managed woodlands.

This reduces the impact on the Earths natural resources and transforming the timber into functional sculptural celebration of the spirit and life force within nature.

Each item of furniture from wyrd designs are hand crafted and not mass produced making every one unique, and in turn limited editions.
